School Immunization Requirements
Kansas immunization requirements and recommendations for the 2024-2025 school year are based on the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations. The current recommended and minimum interval immunization schedules may be found at: www.cdc.gov/vaccines/schedules/hcp/
child-adolescent.html . The best disease prevention is achieved by adhering to the recommended schedule. However, if a child falls behind, the minimum interval schedule is implemented.

Lessons & Activities
Use the Vaccine Activity book from the Vaccine Education Center at CHOP
to teach the science of vaccines with puzzles and coloring pages that entertain and educate. This 16-page booklet is sure to provide children with a way to learn about vaccines and how they work, as well as some of the scientists who helped to develop them. The resource is available in Spanish too!
