We're bringing our Entre Mujeres: The Health of Women (formerly known as Dia de La Mujer Latina) conference to Kansas City, Kansas, in late April! This empowering event will bring an engaging approach to educate all women on how they can take preventative measures against HPV-related cancers, with a focus on the HPV vaccine.
This event will be presented in Spanish. English interpretation will be provided.

Recap of Past Conferences
IKC's "Dia de la Mujer Latina" conferences were held in October in Garden City and Liberal, Kansas! Both events had a great turnout, reaching over 275 Latina women. We gathered together to honor cancer survivors, learned the importance of HPV vaccination in preventing cancers, and listened to the “Ni uno Mas” campaign from El Centro, Inc. Both conferences had inspirational speakers including cancer survivor Helen Ortiz, motivational public health equity advocate, Julissa Sosota, and more!
We also honored two members of the Garden City and Liberal communities, Norma Fraire and Victoria Bangs for their outreach efforts within their communities, receiving the "Making A Difference" award.
